Pretty in Ink
As a part of my work for NewsBIN I had to be a crew member on another classmates project. I chose to work with my classmate, Paulina Duque, on her documentary about the tattoo shop Pretty in Ink. It is a female run tattoo shop that is made specifically to be a safe space for marginalized groups to get tattooed or pierced with out fear of being judged. They also specialize in mastectomy cover ups.
My responsibility on this shoot was to film interviews and B roll as well as making sure all of the audio for the interviews was coming through okay.
