Documentary Synopsis:
Shaymar Higgs is a man of many talents. Besides being the shy yet eccentric founder of the non-profit, The SPACE Free Art For All, Shaymar is a professionally trained ex-pastry chef, and was once preparing to become a Tibetan monk. He is a self proclaimed meditation healer. He is an artist, a mental health advocate, and a devout member of his community. He is the “Outstanding Citizen of the Year.”

My role:
I worked as producer on this project, coordinating shoots between team members and our wonderful subject, Shaymar. I also helped outline the story arc, film documentary footage, and edit scenes. I led our main interview, both coming up with questions and facilitating the conversation with Shaymar.
